by Jennifer Winton, Founder and Executive Director of U!Shine As we wrap up February, a month full of red hearts, stomachache inducing amounts of chocolate, and kitschy valentine’s cards, I can’t help but think on the word LOVE. Love is a word with so many meanings, and -- at times — so little meaning. So my curiosity caused me to do some digging into how love and mental health are connected.

by Jennifer Winton, Founder and Executive Director of U!Shine We are so thankful for the generosity and support that you have shown over the past several weeks. As we continue to receive gifts towards our year end fundraising goal of $100,000, we have raised almost $78,0000 to help further our mission to bring awareness, education and hope to university campuses!
by Jennifer Winton, Founder and Executive Director of UShine As most of you know, UShine is a mental and emotional health program that brings awareness, education, and hope to university students. We understand that anxiety, emotional distress, and depression can show up in every day ways and even life-threatening ways for our students. UShine strives to shift the conversation on campuses to create an open and accepting awareness and support of emotional and mental well-being. Our holistic programs help students understand the science of our emotions and feelings, find spiritual strength and hope in God's love and learn practical tools to help them better their well being - mind, body and spirit. |
